Zeteo Quest

SUMMARY

This technical report discusses the different events happened in October 2-3 of the year 2018. The Zeteo Quest has held an event in the STI College Ortigas – Cainta for two days. Zeteo has held an event for the students to be aware of the things to do in case of risks.

Zeteo did not only teach students of what to remember in such risk but they also made the students have fun while learning. They made use of the technology while still having a personal communication to people which help students have fun.

Zeteo has enhanced skills of the students such as critical thinking and communication topeople. Critical thinking was enhanced because of deciphering codes and answering questions. Communication was enhanced because of exchanging ideas to their newly met person in the group.

Zeteo has also showed some teachers new ways for their students to learn such as having fun while learning. Having fun is a must too to lessen pressure and stress to students which is a good way of making the students be interested in new learning.

Over all, Zeteo has made an impact to STIers in learning while having fun. It also made importance of the new asset in learning which is technology. Zeteo’s event has also helped students in keeping thing interesting as much as possible for them to learn new knowledge and to see the end of the event.

INTRODUCTION

This technical report contains idea and information related to the Zeteo Quest that is done in STI College Ortigas Cainta with their Senior High School Students. For this whole technical report, it will show the important information and some insight in the event done in STI ORCA. The purpose of this report is to give idea, to give information, to give summarization, and to show the discussions related to the event. This can report can be use in recommending to be study, also in research. Here you will see what is this all about, what are the segments and activities done, what are the feedback of students to the survey, and the engagement and participation of students.

The problem on this that is needed to be solved is the awareness of student when a natural disaster comes. The scope of the report is the Senior High School students of STI College Ortigas – Cainta. This activity wants student to be aware again in natural disasters, this want students to be always prepared in any disasters.

The report is organized in terms of aligning all the important details in the report, the report contains, table of contents, summary, introduction, discussion, conclusions, recommendations, bibliography and appendix.

DISCUSSION

  1. What is Zeteo Quest?

Zeteo Quest is an innovation that specializes in four categories: Ed-Tech, Design, Production, and VR & AR.

Ed-Tech or Educational Technology specializes in creating educational games for mobile phones. They also specialize in organizing Mobile educational Events in private and public schools exactly as what they did in STI College Ortigas – Cainta.

Design, Zeteo also specializes in designing or creating 3D models, architectural visualizations, websites, graphic art and logos. They may turn or ideas and concept into 2D and 3D. They can also re-create non-existent buildings or things.

Production they specialize in doing animation of the products made that can be use as commercial ads. Their animations can be short films and game assets that has storyboards that can help in showcasing a product.

VR & AR, these are recently popular in this generation. They make 360 Virtual tours and games. This can also be use in selling products.

  1. Segments and Activities

The activities that students done in the Zeteo Quest are:

  • Survival Game
  • Story Line
  • Photo Booth
  • ZeteoBus
  • Zeteo Go!

In the Survival Game students are separated to make a group. Each group need to have connection to each other in able to answer the given question. In the survival game each group need to rank all the given equipments in 1 to 10. 1 is the highest and 10 is the lowest. They need to define what is the most needed equipment when there is a typhoon and when they are trapped under the ground. After ranking all the equipment in 1 to 10 the zeteo officer will show how many people can students can survive with they’re chosen equipments.

In the next activity there is the Story Line, in the story line the officers or the assistant people of the zeteo activity will choose a student who will act the character that is given to them. After choosing the students who will act the story, the story line can be start. In the story there is always a part where all students need to choose a decision. The decision that they will choose will be the characters destiny whether it’s bad or good. This activity is all about decision making.

In the 3rd activity of the Zeteo Quest they prepared a Photo Booth, where each group can have a picture for free with their group members. It gives a lot excitement to each student because they can also get the picture for free.

For the fourth activity there is the Zeteo Bus. In the Zeteo bus each group will get inside the bus and watch the short film that the zeteo officers made for them. In this activity the students can see the all the calamities and what are the effects of it to human environment or to other human lives. In this activity it showed that we people must care to our environment and to our earth

For the last part of the Zeteo Quest there the Zeteo Go! Before the Zeteo quest started each student has a app. This app is related to the last part of the activity. In the last part of the activity each group must choose one cellphone to start. In the app there is a hard mode and a hardcore mode. Each difficulty has 10 questions. In able to answer the questions there are posters that are spread in some part of the STI campus. The poster has code inside. In able to see the code the student must open the app and make fit with the poster using the camera. After that they can see the code and that code contain hints that they can help them to answer to questions. For the whole activity they have time limits given to them in answering the questions. After that they must pass their score to the zeteo officers in able to finish the activity.

In the whole activity of the Zeteo Quest, students can learn how to communicate and to socialize to other students. It can help them to enhance their critical thinking ability in solving puzzles and making decisions. In the activity students must have patience to finish the activity. They must have teamwork too. This can help them in real life situations and can also help them in their personal problems. The lesson of the activity is to finish what you started and never give up even the situation is very hard, because in the end the reward will be worth it.

In critical thinking skills is able to understand the logical connections between ideas. Identify, construct and evaluate arguments. Detect inconsistencies and common mistakes in reasoning. Student must also show their will in doing the activity. Critical thinking can help them to understand logical connections of each problem and it’s solution. In creativity student must use their imagination or their own original ideas to make a solution and to have more fun with the activity and especially they must have production in their artistic work. Collaboration in able to work with someone or with their team members, they must have communication in having a decision making. Information literacy can use to recognize information that their needed and to evaluate, or to use effectively the needed information. They can use it in the last part of the activity. In media literacy it encompasses the practices of a student that allow them to access, critical evaluate and create media. Technology literacy is needed too, in solving problems because they can work independently with their group members with use of technology. Flexibility in able to compromise, or to easily modified something, this can help them to fix problem positively.

  1. Student Engagement and Participation

Zeteo made an engagement to school, where they proposed an activity for senior high students of STI Colloge Ortigas – Cainta. This activity contains lessons and fun activities where students can enjoy the whole activity. Students who joined to Zeteo event has given a letter where they need to confirm it to their parents if they are going or not.

The event starts at exactly 8 o clock in the morning, the students gathered at 7am and start at 8am, the activity started after separating each student and after making their own group. The event has been organized by the Zeteo officers and head members with their assistant. They prepared booths and other room for their activities.

The students start doing activities with their group members and start solving each problem given to them after having their own group. The whole activity become fun and enjoyable. The even end up organized but at the last part of the activity it rained that’s why the students can’t make it in time. But still for them the whole event was fun and they learn from it.

Student Feedback and Assessment

In the observation, survey and interviews, it all shows that the Zeteo Quest activity in STI College Ortigas Cainta for senior high school gave them a best moment because the activity gives is a lot of fun, in ways of solving problems and doing other physical activity with their group members. The activity helps them to evaluate things and solve problems or code in the whole activity. Students in STI Ortigas – Cainta also considered that this event gives a lot of idea in doing something; also it helps them to enhance their ability in working with someone and working independently.

The activity gives a lot of excitement for them because they also experience the Zeteo bus and the app that prepared for them. Students show a lot of hard work with their group mate and a lot of fun with them. Other student has not and other does enjoy the whole activity. Other has not enjoy that much because they expecting something different that they didn’t see before. But still many students enjoy the whole activity and all the problems that they solved. For them this activity can apply in real life situation and can help other people to learn how to save our environment to prevent natural disaster become bigger and destructive.

For some students the 1st activity of the event gives lesson in taking the risk when there is a disaster coming or when there is a disaster in present time. For them the 1st activity which is the survival game also orients them with the importance with working with someone or somebody. They considered that team work is very important in all situations, because teamwork and critical thinking is very useful to help more people that needs some help too. The 2nd activity for them which is the story line gives responsibility in taking the risk with their own decision. They learn how to decide carefully and how to decide right.

For the 4th activity of the event the feedback of the students in this activity is much needed because it just shows that natural disaster is very dangerous. That’s why our environment must be care with people living with it. The 5th activity for them is the most fun because it makes them use their physical ability and their mental ability. This is the most fun part for them because all the 21st skills are applied here. All of it became very useful for their group in finishing the whole activity.

The whole activity became really fun with them, because also the other teachers joined them to enjoy the whole event also in photo booth where they have their pictures with their teacher. It’s not just activity for fun but also an activity to learn and to enhance skills.

CONCLUSIONS

Zeteo has been a help to the students in some ways. They helped students learn in a fun way. The event also has helped the students be more aware of their surroundings. It also helped them to enhance some of their skills.

Zeteo has showed new ways in learning things while having fun even with the use of technology they still did not forget the personal communication to people. Zeteo has helped students’ enhanced their critical thinking and communication skills in deciphering codes while asking other in their ideas and suggestions.

Zeteo did not forget to make students feel the fun while learning. It may not be noticeable but while the students are having fun locating images they also deciphering codes and answering questions which help them learn and know knew things that will help them survive in terms of risks.

Zeteo has inserted some segment activities to make students not forget the fun of learning new things.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Just like what has said at the conclusion, Zeteo has showed new ways in learning things while having fun even with the use of technology they still did not forget the personal communication to people. All the event that is done in the event is very useful for many students, they are not just having fun but also learning with their group members. This is a big help for students because they also oriented by the officers to be aware at other natural calamities and they also learn to be independent in some way. It’s a good opportunity for them that’s why this activity can be recommended at many.

We recommend the Zeteo Quest event activities and segments because it gives important information that many students can use in real life situations. These activities can enhance their physical and mental ability, not just their critical thinking ability but also all the 12, 21st century skills.

We also recommend on how the event has been organized and how they do the whole activity fun and learning. In conducting each activity, we recommend the skilled officers, assistants who guides all the students in doing all the activities. We are not just recommending the procedures and the processes of the event, but also the process of the registration of the event, we recommend to give letter to them for their parents to know the activity. This can also help Zeteo to improve their work because of the parent feedbacks.

We recommend that students can learn a lot from he activity, because they can acquire these skills in joining the event: Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Information literacy, Media literacy, Technology literacy, Flexibility, Leadership, Initiative, Productivity, Social skills. All these skills can be acquired because of the activities in prepared by the Zeteo officers.

Botanical Garden: For a Better Environment

INTRODUCTION

In accordance to Republic Act No. 9053 Section 2 that states “Scope of the practice of Landscape Architecture” refers to the act of planning, designing, specifying, supervising and giving general administration and responsible direction to the functional, orderly and aesthetic arrangement, changing and development of natural scenery and land areas to produce the most desirable effect for human use and enjoyment of various outdoor spaces which consist of landscape components and the softscape of plants such as gardens, sports fields, playgrounds, recreational grounds, camping sites, resorts, national and public parks, historical parks, squares, memorial parks, subdivisions, parks and parkways, zoological and botanical gardens, greenbelts, cemeteries, plazas, patios, yards, outdoor shopping and pedestrian malls, promenades, sidewalks, roads and walkway systems, traffic islands, easements and circles, roof and open interior gardens and courts, and other open spaces; the protection, conservation and rehabilitation of the natural environment and scenery to enhance the ecological system and quality of life.” We propose a botanical garden inside the STI OrtigasCainta Campus. This project will be connected to the Philippine Landscape Architecture Act of 2000. This will also help the Philippines a much greener place, teach the students how to take care of the nature, and help the culinary students lessen their expenses. Although there are already grasses and trees in the school campus this will have a different effect and advantage on the students of STI.

 

PURPOSE

The Earth has evolved with a beautiful nature in it. In the past decades the Earths’ nature has been declining its beauty and its advantages on the Earth. The reason for its declining is because of the man-made pollution. To avoid the total destruction the earth’s nature people must do all they can to restore the earth’s nature. To do it by preserving the forest, building botanical gardens, and more. By doing so, we are saving a beautiful future to our future generations.

Building a botanical garden will help the earth be a greener place. Helping the Earth restore its nature back will be a big help to the people living and for the next generation. Planting trees helps the earth’s pollution be lessened and it will produce more oxygen.

Having botanical gardens in schools will help the students appreciate and respect the nature more. We can notice that people nowadays ignore its benefits and get frustrated when the nature is almost gone. Making a movement that will help the people appreciate their surrounding will help to preserve these kind of things is the next generations.

Students who are Culinary can also plant their fruits and vegetables to lessen their expenses. By doing this we are avoiding the big inflation in the foods being bought in the market. It will also help the students learn how important it is to have raw ingredients in their future careers..

Helping the Earth be a greener place, making students learn to appreciate the nature, and teaching students the different importance of it will help for the betterment of the future.

 

 

 

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The goal for the botanicals is seperated in 2 different aspects. Short term and long term goals, These goals affects the students as they were to be. One of.the short term goals for the botanicals is for the students to have a source of vegetables.   The problem in today’s market is the vegetables prices sky-rocketting that has doubled and even tripled compared to the old prices, with the botanicals in hand culinary students can save some money for dishes required in school ; this kind of things not only affect the budget of the students but can also teach them the little parts of nature inside the school

 

Many students suffer from major stress due to cluster of school with short due dates. The long term goal for the botanicals is for students to have a place to relax in, stress is a modern day problem, many students have complained for the pressure school gives to them. The botanicals can be treated not just as a source of vegetables but also a garden where they can walk around and hang around at in their leisure time. The splashing green scenery and smell of dewy soil can help students relax the stress from everyday stress piled up.

METHODOLOGY AND TIMELINE

Botanical gardens are one of our most important resources for knowledge and collection of the floral around the world, But the Culinary Students come up with the idea of having a botanical garden but instead of concentrated flowers we decided to plant more vegetables than flowers for STI students to appreciate the natural resources and for the culinary students to reduce their cost and just harvest the vegetables that they need in cooking when they’re having a laboratory in STI Ortigas-Cainta.

The Culinary Students will find individuals who may be able to help and support the garden and organize a discussion of why a botanical garden may be desirable in the STI Ortigas-Cainta and what kind of design would be the best to have.

The Culinary Students will first start in establishing and monitoring the budget and the project schedules and timelines. Then, we will have our procurement, consultants and constructors to obtain the needs for the preparations of building a botanical garden in STI Ortigas-Cainta.

The Culinary students will also have their monitoring in the risks and quality of the botanical garden, also overseeing and managing the project scope, keeping a close watch on changes, continuous or uncontrolled growth in the project’s scope at any point.

Ensuring the effort and expenditure are appropriate to expectations are also be monitored

Resolving differences and disagreements during the project development process is also included in our methodology.

The Culinary Students will start their meetings with the people who can help and work with them to support their concept and have an ability to help them organize the ideas and concept that they want in October 10, 2018.

On October 20, 2018 the Culinary students will start to buy the materials and equipments that is needed for building a botanical garden.

Setting up the things that is needed for planting the seeds, organizing the garden and planning a specific design that can make the plants and flowers more presentable will be stated in October 25, 2018.

On November 05, 2018  the culinary students will start to plant the seeds of plants, flowers and vegetables when the botanical garden is ready to be planted.

Then, in the next month which is on November 15, 2018 the culinary students will hire some persons to take care of the plants, flowers and vegetables in the botanical garden.

The Culinary students will also give their hired worker their monthly salary for their hard work.

After finishing the botanical garden the culinary students will having their daily monitoring of the plants, flowers and vegetables in the botanical garden. Also, the Culinary students will have their weekly monitoring of the money they spent in the botanical garden and in the salary of the workers.

The Culinary students will keep close with the changes and uncontrolled growth in the project monthly, so that if there is a problem that will be encountered, the culinary students will resolve it as soon as possible.

 

BENEFITS AND ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES

Botanical gardens are gardens that are often use of physicians and other botanists, but then they can progressively become more associated with ornamental horticulture and the needs of the general public or for all of the people.

 

The benefits of this botanical garden is, it can help students to be a nature lover also it can produce different kinds of vegetables that can help student to save money that also can use to the culinary industry. This botanical garden can give culinary students additional information about planting and caring foods. This can also help them in way of growing plants that they can use when starting a business. This botanical garden is not just for tourist who wants to see a nice of view of plants that are in one place, it also can give relaxation to them. The botanical garden is made for the students for them to learn something new, also for them to learn how to give respect to the nature or their surroundings. This can help them to be responsible in taking care of plants and the environment which they can benefit in the future.

 

The botanical garden in school is not just for them to learn in planting and caring of plants, but it can also help the whole environment. Planting different kinds of plants or trees can also provide oxygen that we needed, it can help in removing carbon dioxide and other air contaminants, and last it can help in social, economic, and other environmental issues. Now a days many school is in urban part of the country which is full of high buildings and pollutions, so in way of making plants grow and making botanical gardens it can make people feel good because they are not just surrounded by buildings but also plants that are also a great view for many people.

 

Botanical garden are often seen in wealthy people’s places  that can afford this but this kind of garden is not just for wealthy people it can be for students and for their neighbourhood, they can plant tree that can significantly increase their property values. School and other places with tree or garden that is full plants are very attractive to many people. It’s a great thing that students and many people  can play a role in planting trees that they can use in future and for their business, also to help offset deforestation and urbanization.

Before announcing the meeting, we would first visualize how we can contain as a part of a whole or to include the garden into the standards – based curriculum as a hands-on interdisciplinary teaching tool, which is a make – or- break element in receiving approval.

 

The Process of Having Your Own Team   

For The Botanical Garden

Once the school administrators approved to build a botanical garden in the school, we will find people to build it because building a botanical garden is in need of agricultural engineers, architecture, electricians, and construction worker. The team will be needed for a building the botanical garden for safety measures and precautions.

 

Teachers

Involving other teachers in garden efforts is very important. Teachers are valuable contributors because they have a firm understanding of curricular goals, know your students well, and have access to school facilities and supplies. Additionally, it’s more fun to approach the garden as a teaching team, and it takes the burden off one educator to keep the program alive.

 

Maintenance Staff

Many teachers have noted that a good relationship with the custodian is critical to a successful garden program. The custodian can help you find valuable resources like storage closets and water sources. Also, because the maintenance staff frequently works year-round, they can help keep an eye on gardens during breaks and vacations.

 

Students

Teachers across the country have discovered that when students are involved in all stages of the process, they are more invested in the project’s success and inspired to care for and respect their schoolyard oases. The students will learn how to take care of the nature.

Marzia’s Clothing Line

The materials used in her clothing is made out of ribbed material and held up by thin stretchy band. Her clothing line has always been very easy to be adapted, feminine, and comfortable. She always finishes her product knowing it will make her community comfortable. She also puts a little twist in her own clothing line so that people can get attracted to it. She also has a logo printed in her t-shirt, hoodie, and swimsuit. The logo is self made by Marzia. As she came back with her collection she included a hoodie because in her past collection, Limone, her hoodie was one of the most requested.She made the hoodie with the same material from her Limone collection yet she changed the style according to the collection she is having now. Her dress is also very cute and comfortable. She made it with puffy sleeves, off-shoulder, with thin elastic bands and navy ribbons. This year is her first time doing a swimsuit. She’s been planning on doing it before and now she has succeeded. She made it with low cut back, frilled sleeves that tie around the shoulder and her logo in the front. She made her swimsuit simple because she’s the kind of designer who doesn’t show much. Lastly, she has this jumpsuit with two versions where her community can choose any of the two. She made it with a very light material perfect for going in the beach. It doesn’t have any zippers only ties around the shoulders. As we can observe in the picture, her collection revolves only in the color palette I mentioned earlier. Also, we can observe the lining of her pieces which is very simple and easy to distinguish.

Overall, I like all of her pieces because she chooses the materials and the designs she knows her community will like. Cute, simple, and comfortable that is what I always think of her work. She doesn’t need to put so much designs and twists in her work and for that reason shows the beauty of simplicity in her work. She makes her pieces knowing her and her audiences will feel comfortable and cute in a very simple way. People who0.. bought her work were very satisfied with it because in hers people can move very free with it and it isn’t very showy at all. Maybe in the near future she’ll be able to show us something a little bit mature but I believe that it will still be comfortable and its beauty will be in its simplicity.

Avoiding Failure

In the past centuries up to the present, we can notice that there are many successful people around the world. As we look back, we can see that there were many fields in success. Mostly, these successes are in the field of business, politics, and science. People like Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, and many more are called successful because of their accomplishments and their influence that they have made all around the world. Every single one of us has the potential to be successful in life. We do not necessarily need to accomplish something big and impact the world because successes can be accomplished in different fields of job. However, being successful is not easy. It requires punctuality, commitment, and ambition.

 

The first thing in need to be successful is punctuality. Basically, punctuality means being on time. It is not only on being on time going to work but also when there is a need to pass reports on or before the deadline and the likes. As Lord Nelson Horatio said, “I have always been a quarter of an hour before my time, and it has made a man of me.” Connecting it in the workplace, it states that punctuality at work shows professionalism because it strengthens integrity, it shows dependability, and it builds up discipline. These things are what make one a man of his work because he keeps his promise. People know that he can be relied on, organizes well, and takes details seriously. For example, as a working man if he does his works on time, attends his meetings on time, organizes his time well, and does not take details for granted, he establishes a good reputation as a dependable and a consistent worker. But, if a worker does not take things well, then he will show a bad reputation in the workplace and it will be hard for him to make people trust him.

 

Commitment is the second requirement for being successful. For some, it is really hard for them to have commitment on something. Some are scared of it and for others they just really do not understand what commitment really means.  And because people think commitment is such a big word they often forget the goodness of it. If a man wants to be successful in his job, then he must dedicate himself to his work. He must not be afraid of any challenges he will face because at every end of it, it is worth accomplishing the goal. Having commitment at work shows power, determination, and goal. For example, if a man at work is committed in his work, he shows power which influences people around him that they should have the same commitment as him. Also, whenever challenges and discouragements come in his way, he is determined to take them all because quitting is not an option. He knows that those kinds of challenges will make his work much better and he will not take discouragements seriously to bring himself down, but instead he will take it as a positive thing so that he can do better. And lastly, goal, his commitments will be his guide in reaching his goal at work whenever things push him away from his goal. He will continue to strive for it until he reaches it.

 

For the last requirement to be successful, this is where ambition enters. Of all three, this one is the most important because when times come even though a person in his job is punctual and is committed, but he does not have an ambition, all of his works may lead to failure. For example, when a person applies for a job but does not have any desire for and he was accepted, obviously, he will commit to it. He will give all his time and efforts in it, but when that person gets tired of the repeated routine in his job, he will get bored because he does not have any goal for it. That is why, when a person has ambition, he will be led into something big and influential because he does not stop dreaming and aiming higher.

To avoid failure in any field of work, we must build ourselves first and be sure of our ambition so that when given the perfect job, we will be committed and be punctual in doing it. Being successful is not easy. People will always face different challenges but remember to take a look at the successful people. They also experienced lots of failures and rejection but because of their punctuality, commitment, and ambition, they have achieve big accomplishments and made a huge impact to the world.

Legalization of Abortion

Legalization of Abortion is one of the controversial issues in the Philippines, because it is still illegal in the Philippines. It is a crime for many Filipinos that’s why it is not legalized by the law. Philippines is a Christian Country that’s one of the reasons, why legalization of abortion should not be implemented.

Every Person has the right to have a life and no force can take that away. Both the constitution and the Bible have said that the right to life is one of the most important rights that we need to preserve and live by. Studies have shown that the likelihood of breast cancer is increased in women who have undergone abortions. Also, Depression is one of the main reasons, why it should be illegal because it can hamper the next pregnancy of the woman.

According to the Center for Reproductive Rights, there’s a prohibition in medicalization to every woman who did an act of abortion and they are not allowed to save the life of a pregnant women or to protect their health. The article said that, abortion was criminalized through the Penal code of 1870 under Spanish Colonial rule and the prohibition of medicalization were incorporated into the Revised Penal Code passed in 1930 under U.S occupation of the Philippines. In 2008, abortion ban was estimated to results in the deaths of at least 1,00 women and complications for 90,000 more.

Physician and Midwives who performed abortion in the Philippines with the consent of a pregnant woman may face up to 6 years in prison under the Revised Penal Code. Also, the women who undergo abortion will be punished by imprisonment for 2 years to 6 years. Because of the lack of knowledge about the safe abortion, women have no choice but to risk their life or just continue the high-risk pregnancy.

All the physicians take oath to preserve life to the best of their capabilities but the question is, how can they agree to the concept of abortion when they are the ones whose responsible for preserving a life? And what about the other cases? How can a woman decide whether she wants to continue her pregnancy or not, when there’s nothing wrong with continuing her pregnancy?

And lastly, one of the reasons why couples opt for it is because they don’t have the strength for bringing up another child. Similar to this, young adults choose to abort because they still have to complete their education. However, abortion facts state that 90% of the same are done under social pressures. In both these cases, they forget that there are a lot of adoption centers who will willingly take their child in.

We have to understand that abortion is just a better word for murder, legalizing it will make this a normal way of life to abort a child, and a lot of couples will be encourage to do an unprotected sex because they have already a solution if a woman get pregnant.

Rising movement of Geocentricity in the modern world

According to the Institute for Creation Research Many attempts were made to prove that heliocentricity was true and Geocentricity was false, right up until the early 1900’s. and all the attempts are unsuccessful. One of the well-known attempts is the Michelson-Morley experiment where was designed to measure the change in the speed of light, and due to the assumed motion of the earth through space and also when measured in different directions on the earth’s surface. The failure of this experiment is to detect any significant change that played an important role in the acceptance of Einstein’s theory of special relativity, which holds as a basic assumption that the speed of light will always be the same everywhere in the universe irrespective of the relative motion of the source of the light and the observer.

It also included that the ability of special relativity to successfully explain many non-intuitive physical phenomena which are manifested by atomic particles when moving at speeds greater than about one-tenth the speed of light seems to corrobate this assumption. But, the only failure is to detect any motion of the earth through space is understood by modern science in terms of relativity rather than Geocentricity.

It also included that it is impossible for human observer to determine whether any material body is in a state of absolute rest. It claims that only motion of two material bodies relative to one another can be physically detected. The research stated that this theory the geocentric and heliocentric viewpoints are equally valid representations of reality, and it makes no sense whatsoever scientifically to speak of one as being true and the other false. This shift in emphasis from an either-or argument to a synthesis and acceptance of both viewpoints is summed up by the well-known astronomer, Fred Hoyle, as follows:

The relation of the two pictures [geocentricity and heliocentricity] is reduced to a mere coordinate transformation and it is the main tenet of the Einstein theory that any two ways of looking at the world which are related to each other by a coordinate transformation are entirely equivalent from a physical point of view…. Today we cannot say that the Copernican theory is ‘right’ and the Ptolemaic theory ‘wrong’ in any meaningful physical sense.

The Perseverance of the Teachers

The Teacher is a very hard working person because they can memorized their everyday lessons to teach their student with a new knowledge. They woke up thinking and studying also the things that they should do with the kids so that, the things that they will teach to the kids can retain in their memory, that can help them to build up their self. They work hard just to give their students a knowledge that they can use when living with their daily life, and not to be ignorant or even stupid when facing other people, they work hard just to fill up the mind of the students the right things that they should do just to be a successful person someday. They work hard just to give them a better understanding of life and not to be fooled by others. They work hard just to make sure that they can be a productive person in the society someday. And they work hard just to make sure that people can understand the things in a positive way to make our world better; so, teaching always requires hard work, commitment, and patience.

Its important for the kids to have a commitment to their teachers, because teachers need to understand the kid’s individual characters to know on how they can manage and teach the kids in an easy way that they can understand, because there are some teachers and students having their conflict even though they can depend on their teacher. Teachers and students must respect and affiliate with one another. Teachers must make schoolwork interesting for kids so that they do not get bored.

The kids lack of commitment with their teachers can result to absences, tardiness and low academic performance, because kids does not feel any excitement when attending their classes; so, it is important for the teachers to improve their teaching methods that can excite the kids whenever they are attending their classes. It is also important if the teacher and a kid have their group random conversation to know each other as if they are family, but kids should know their limits and should respect their teachers as well. Teachers also need to observe the kids having a hard time and have a short talk with the kid so that the kids can always feel that there are people who are always concerned about them and will be there to comfort them.

Patience is about waiting without getting upset, patience is a part of our life. Instead of getting frustrated when facing a difficult time with the kids, Patience can help you to respond in a rightful way. They say that “Patience is a virtue”, When it comes to teaching a kid you have to be patient so that they can learn the value of delaying gratification. Patience is the most required skill that a teacher should have because a great teacher needs to be very patient when it comes to teaching the kids, so that the kid can see their hard work for them to gain knowledge. Patience can be a better way for effective teaching because there are practices that requires a patience, Teacher somehow found ways to be patient with their students even when other teachers told them to just give up.

The kids can be more efficient if their teacher has a patience to teach them of something. Teachers also needs to provide their feedback or reflection upon what they are seeing in the classroom. Teachers should take time to reflect upon the relationship between how much is being taught; and how much is being retained, as if more kids will be grown up with a better attitude and with more knowledge than ever before. Teacher should have always a long term-patience for kids so that the kids can improve their self with the help of their teachers, because teachers should help their students to developed their skills and knowledge.

The research, Young people and healthy eating: a systematic review of research on barriers and facilitators by J Shepherd, A Harden, R Rees, G Brunton, J Garcia, S Oliver, A Oakley, was conducted to examine the barriers to, and facilitators of, healthy eating among young people (11–16 years).

The aim of this paper is to know and review about the obstacles to have a healthy eating among young people. The research showed that there are improvements in knowledge and increase in healthy eating but there  are differences when it comes to the gender. The author also stated the obstacles to healthy eating which include the poor school meal provision, relative cheapness and personal taste preferences for fast food. The methodology that was used to conduct the study is a systematic mapping. Strict evaluation is required just to assess the effectiveness of increasing the availability of affordable healthy food in the public and private spaces occupied by young people.

The author/s let us identify the negative effects of not having a healthy food intake in the body and if there are people who will going to take action then, there are no longer young people will have a not healthy body.

The research was good because it allows us to know that there are negative effects in the health growth and cognitive development. The author/s influenced us that the negative effects of not having a healthy food intake will result to more problems in the future. To such a complicated issue the author/s sums up well by saying the things that will happen if this unhealthy food intake by young people continues. So ultimately there’s no reason for us to disregard this issue and take action even if were just a simple person. The author recommended that we can help poor young people to intake a healthy food and that is to provide a healthy food that  they can afford but, the thing is this paper does not translate easily to our everyday life because we also need to make a living for our own. Well, it appear as a concrete guideline for the people who really wants to help and do have a lot of money to provide the things that is needed to help poor young people.

Over all, the author/s does clearly stated the negative effects of unhealthy intake of food by the young people so they recommended that we also need to provide healthy foods that the poor young people can afford so that they can intake healthy foods too. The piece was very relevant discussed with and it is very convincing in theory and it is very straight to the point when approaching with the complex problem.

The product review that I reviewed is the Oppo find X. This is a new advance cellphone made by Oppo. This new Oppo device has many new advance features. Instead of a small elevating mechanism like the Nex, the entire top portion of the Find X rises, and the pop-up module houses not just the selfie camera, rear facing dual cameras, and a front facing 3d face scanning sensor to boot. The latter is also used to unlock the phone in a secure and advance manner like the IPhone X. Oppo is so confident in its 3D face scanning system, it has eliminated the fingerprint reader completely. This device also has radical and unique new design. The earpiece has been shrunken to a tiny sliver, and the proximity sensor can be removed entirely in favor of new software that can do the same things. This new Oppo find X have so many advance systems that is very outstanding compare to other devices like IPhone X and Samsung X. The focus of this new mobile device, is the camera and how different it is from other devices. Even though this Oppo find X is the very new advance camera in any mobile devices. It also contains 8gb RAM plus 256gb ROM, 3730 mAh battery, Dual sim, VOOC fast charge that other devices may have.

 

The name of the channel that I watched in Youtube in the product that I review is Unbox Therapy. Just like what I saw on this new product that is what I saw either. That this new Oppo find X is very impressive mobile device the camera and the lense of the camera is so fantastic. Because the Oppo is always focusing in their camera anyway. Unbox Therapy, (the name of the reviewer in his channel) say that “The Oppo find X may be our best glimpse into our collective smartphone future. Smartphones are set to become completely bezel-less and the Oppo find x is 1st retail example I’ve seen. The find Xfeatures an over 93 percent screen body ratio. The Oppo find X is seriously impressive device”. He also said that can this device will be the best smartphone in year 2018. He also show why this device is very different from other devices and how advance it is from others.

Rhythm in our Body

Eating is a human’s daily basis in getting the needed nutrients and the needed energy for the whole day. Usually our parents told us that we should eat every three to four hours but is eating every moment is really healthy or doing it will only makes us suffer? Is it only the food that is harmful? Or is it the way how we eat? Or maybe we, humans, are not following the real rhythm of our body? Recently, Anahad O’Connor who is known to be a journalist and a staff reporter in New York Times has posted an article in the internet. First off, Anahad O’ Connor’s biography states that, he joined the NYT in year 2013 and he writes about health, fitness, nutrition, epidemiology, and science. Before joining the NYT he was a neuroscience with a psychology degree at Yale University. Also, upon looking at his data, Anahad O’connor, has already published four different books related to the food industry and to world myths. He started publishing at the year 2007 and his latest book was published last 2010. His book “The 10 Things You Need to Eat” was his New York Times Bestseller in the year 2010. As of now his article entitled “When We Eat, or Don’t Eat, May Be Critical for Health” posted last July 24, 2018 answers the questions given above.

“When We Eat, or Don’t Eat, May Be Critical for Health” revolves around the book, The Circadian Code. It is revealed by Dr. Satchidananda Panda, a professor at the Salk Institute and an expert on circadian rhythms research. The book includes the experimental researches where scientist will test people and animals connected to the circadian rhythm. As reading further in the article made by O’Connor he is trying to inform people about the circadian rhythm and to suggest should follow the circadian code because of its advantages or its health factors.

As mentioned earlier, Anahad O’Conner is the author of “When We Eat, or Don’t Eat, May Be Critical for Health”.  The content of his work is objective because he based his statements to the experiments of scientists starting from animals to humans. Seemingly, the aims of his work are to inform people about the book “The Circadian Code” and how this circadian rhythm does affect our body. His approach in doing the article is collecting the highlights of the book including the needed information to know first, the statements of the scientists that generalize the whole topic of the book and the experiments that are conducted to prove their study. The way sequenced the whole article is effective because the way he write his work really catches the attention of his audience/reader even though it is a long article yet, it could have been better if he first stated the experiment made by Dr. Panda in 2012 using the identical mice than stating first the experiment involving healthy adults because  it is more logical to say that “if it works on mice will it work on people too?” than thinking “if it works on people will it work on animals too?”. There are types of readers that if the author has already stated the biggest proof that he has the readers will start to neglect the following small proofs that you are giving next. For that reason, logical sequencing, even in giving proofs is important because situations like these may happen. Overall, the way of his collection of data of the book, research, or study is well structured, aside from how he put together the data collected he wrote it in the way his audience can read it with much more understanding and include some examples related to the statement yet not confusing his readers. For example:

““If you’re constantly eating at a time of day when you’re not getting bright light exposure, then the different clock systems become out of sync,” she said. “It’s like one clock is in the time zone of Japan and the other is in the U.S. It gives your metabolism conflicting signals about whether to rev up or rev down.”

Most people know what happens when we disrupt the central clock in our brains by flying across multiple time zones or burning the midnight oil: Fatigue, jet lag and brain fog set in. Eating at the wrong time of day places similar strain on the organs involved in digestion, forcing them to work when they are programmed to be dormant, which can increase the risk of disease, said Paolo Sassone-Corsi, the director of the Center for Epigenetics and Metabolism at the University of California, Irvine.”

In the statement above we can see that O’Connor had taken quoted something from the study and then he supports the quoted statement with example and facts that are connected to it.

O’Connor’s article, “When We Eat, or Don’t Eat, May Be Critical for Health” , is highly informative because it states that what we eat is not only the factor that affects our health. When we eat or don’t eat affects it too because following the rhythm of our body is to avoid conflicts such as different illnesses. It also states that, every organ in our body has its own clock to work on a daily basis. Once changed or used too much it may cause major negative changes in our body. For the reason that we should always keep in mind the successful experiments that show the differences between having a time-restricted regimen than having none because those experiments are the proof of how to have a good diet for a person’s health. In some circumstance, O’Connor should not neglect the sequencing of his examples for proofing because it is one of the most important parts of an article the supporting detail. Overall his work is well-structured because he has given all the terms that the readers needs to know, he has put the word into his own understanding, he has quoted some statements from the scientists itself, and he has collected other facts and studies related to the topic.
